The Balkan History Association has signed a cooperation agreement with the Institute of History “George Bariţiu” in Cluj-Napoca (Romanian Academy), well known to be the oldest institute in Romania dedicated to the research of history and its related disciplines. The aim of the partnership is to promote interdisciplinary research, develop themes of great interest in the sphere of thr pre-modern, modern and contemporary history of Romania and South-East Europe, and the publication of specialized volumes. The association is represented by its president, Mihai Dragnea, and the institute by its director, Ioan Bolovan.
