The Balkan History Association (BHA) is preparing a panel for the 2025 Triennial Conference of its partner, the Society for Romanian Studies. The event will take place on 29-31 May 2025 at the Faculty of European Studies, Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca.
The panel is focusing on diverse issues related to continuity and discontinuity in Romanian historiography. The discussion should be at an interdisciplinary level, so presentations related to various disciplines are welcome (history, archaeology, linguistics, etc.).
Proposals should include the mention “BHA Panel”, titles and abstracts (200-300 words), and the names, institutional affiliations (if any), short bios (max 80 words), and email addresses.

Deadline for proposals is Friday 25th October 2024.
Participants will be informed by February 1st 2025.
