The Balkan History Association has signed a cooperation agreement with the Faculty of History and Social Science, Armenian State Pedagogical University in Yerevan, who is organizing teaching and research on the history of Armenia, world history, law and civil education, legal education in penitentiary institutions, teaching methods, and special schools. The aim of the partnership is to promote interdisciplinary research of the history of Armenia and the Caucasus as well as the connection with the Balkans and the larger European cultural, political, economic and social space, through conferences and lectures and the publication of thematic volumes. The association is represented by its President, Mihai Dragnea. The Faculty of History and Social Science is represented by its Dean, Edgar Hovhannisyan, Deputy Dean for Science and International Cooperation, Samvel Poghosyan, and Head of the World History Department, Khachatur Stepanyan.
